THE TOP 5 FOODS
NOT TO PUT ON YOUR GRILL THIS SUMMER! / GUEST: TED BROER
Americans are firing up the grill
for summertime cookout season, but throw one charcoal broiled steak on the BBQ
and you may as well be handing your family 600 lit cigarettes according to Dr.
Ted Broer, author of “Maximum Age Reversal.” Broer says cookouts can
poison your family. He blames food for making America the world leader in Heart
Disease, Diabetes and Cancer. “A cookout is one big cancer causing
meal!”
A NEW WAY TO VIEW THE
“OLD BALL GAME” / GUEST: DAN LIBERTHSON
America is in the heat of baseball
season. More than two million kids under the age of 13 will play on seven
thousand Little League teams this year. Yahoo News reports more than 3 of
every 10 Americans are baseball fans. “What is on the field is an imitation
of human life,” says Dan Liberthson, PhD and author of the new book “The Pitch
is on the Way: Poems about Baseball and Life.” Baseball Commissioner Bud
Selig praises Liberthson for pointing out how watching the professionals on the
field is a fantastic way to teach your children – and refresh your own thoughts
about the moral issues and guidelines of life. Click here for full release.

SHARPER IMAGE…LINENS
‘N THINGS…COULD YOUR COMPANY BE NEXT TO FILE BANKRUPTCY? / GUEST: TOM DECOTIIS
Once strong empires Linens ‘n
Things, Bombay Company, Sharper Image and Steve & Barry’s are among the
growing list of companies which have sought bankruptcy protection this
year. “Empires are crashing,” says Dr. Tom DeCotiis. He was part of
the team that created the strategies for Boston Chicken, Outback Steakhouse and
Blockbuster Video. He is now the author of “Make It Glow” (Greenleaf Book
Group Press 2008). “Part of it is this downward economy, but
another factor is that these companies have lost the vision of their founders
at the worst possible time!”
HOW CAN GOVERNMENT BE
MORE EFFECTIVE IN SOLVING AMERICAN’S PROBLEMS? / GUEST: MARCO MARSAN
There always seems to be a “war”
on something. It could be an actual conflict like in Iraq or an attempt
to wipe out a huge crisis like poverty, illegal drug use or terrorism.
Are any of these battles ever going to be won? If so, what’s the best way
to solve any of these issues? “Empathy is the ultimate problem
solving tool,” proclaims Marco Marsan, the Billion Dollar Problem Solver for
Gatorade, Trident and Absolut Vodka has been recognized as one of America’s top
Out-of-the-Box thinkers by the Mazda Corporation. In his new book, “The
Lion’s Way,” Marsan explores topics like “might vs. right” and the idea of
“thinking through all the implications” of an action before acting.
VALUE OF THE DOLLAR
DROPS TO RECORD LOW / GUEST: HOWARD RUFF
Gas prices are now $4.00 a
gallon. Housing values are crashing. America has already promised to
give out more money for Social Security and Medicare than the nation’s entire
budget. The 2008 Presidential candidates don’t know what to do other than
print more money. “We are headed toward a hyperinflationary depression
where soon a $100 dollar bill will be worth more as toilet tissue than currency,”
says Howard Ruff. Ruff is the advisor not for Wall Street, but for
America’s neglected and abused middle class, author of “How to Prosper During
the Coming Bad Years In The 21st Century” and creator of the most
read financial advisory newsletter in the world. “I don’t know
how to fix America’s
finances, but I do know how individual families can protect themselves from the
stressful economic times ahead, and even profit handsomely from it!”
CAN YOU GET A REFUND
ON YOUR NEW CAR? / GUEST: NORMAN TAYLOR
California
dealers sell about 1,500,000 new cars, trucks and RV’s each year. Studies
say up to 10-percent of those (150,000) are Lemons. Unscrupulous
manufacturers often run customers through the gauntlet when they try to get
those unfixable vehicles repaired. Norman Taylor, the attorney who wrote
the book on Lemon Law, “Lemon Law: The Standard Reference Guide,” says
customers are told the defect is intentional or they’re told the problem is in
their head. Sometimes the dealer keeps the vehicle for weeks then says
the problem is covered under a different warranty. “Some manufacturers
and dealers will say and do anything to make the customer give up trying to get
their new car repaired. But owners of a Lemon have rights!”
